Happy Friday! Here’s this weeks feel good news to get your weekend started:

1. It’s official! Watching cute animals is good for your health! Researchers at the University of Leeds found that all 19 participants in their study experienced a significant drop in heart rate after viewing a 30 min video of cute animals & the average blood pressure dropped too. Lead researcher Dr. Utley said “images appeal but video clips are more meaningful, & I would expect that physical closeness would be even better.”

2. Baby cow gets to take first steps thanks to custom made wheelchair – Ruby Sue was born with her back legs fused together & was saved from being euthanised by ‘Safe in Austin Rescue’ in Texas. The calf was pain free & otherwise healthy & so pet mobility company Walkin Pets stepped in to save the day.

3. Lonely otter at sanctuary finds love through online dating – Harris from Cornish Seal Santuary was left single after his mate Apricot recently passed away. His keepers created the website ‘fishing for love’ especially for him & he now has a first date planned with Pumpkin from Scarborough Sea Life. Experts are hopeful the pair will hit it off.
